(RFI) is a non-profit organization based out of Waverly, IA and Senatobia, MS that trains service dogs for disabled veterans, children with autism, and adults and children with diabetes. RFI has been blessed with two Golden Rule Retrievers, Hummer and Briggs. Nearing six months of age now, they're both on track to make outstanding service dogs for someone in need. She was everything that we had hoped for! She is beautiful, healthy and very smart. She came to us at 14 weeks old and within the first week she is already house trained and knows sit, down, off, come,fetch, and walks quite well on the leash. The most impressive thing for us though is her sweet, loving personality. You can touch her anywhere and she never flinches! We have grandchildren ages 1 and 3 and she is so gentle with them. Never showing anything but sweetness. We have a 13 year old Lab that doesn’t get around really good anymore and Piper is very good with her and seems to know not to be too energetic around her. She has always shown that same sweet, calm attitude with EVERY stranger we have met! Human and canine!
The other night as me, my teenage son, and Piper were out for a walk, my son said to me “I think we made the right choice, dad!” I couldn’t agree with him more! We can’t thank you enough!!"
