Orwell is a golden retriever puppy who was born March 1, 2023. His first interactions with humans were from a puppy stroller. As soon as he was ready, he began taking outings to get used to riding in the car, seeing moving objects, meeting people and other dogs, etc. He visited local schools as soon as he was vaccinated where he learned that kids are fun and friendly. He would love a little boy to play with. He is a snuggler and he comes when his name is called. He sleeps in a crate at night and is learning to be free inside the house. He talked back a little bit as a younger pup, but he is learning to communicate more effectively by sitting and waiting patiently. He has mastered house potty manners. He is up to date on all shots and is on Heartgard and Nexgard for heartworm and flea/tick preventive, respectively. He loves treats! He is current on all vaccines and is ready to meet his new family! Orwell will need daily exercise as he grows. He will love adventures and will make friends easily. He is not interested in learning tricks and sometimes lacks confidence when in public. He prefers staying home and is not a dog park or beach kind of guy. He is a couch potato kind of guy. He wants to be with his people and will give love freely.
